Walk Out The Door
There is only one way out of this mess
There is only one way out of this mess
There is only one way out of this mess
And that’s to walk out the door
Time to walk out the door
Like that time before
To better days I’m sure
For you
Time to walk out the door
Like that time before
To better days I’m sure
For you and me
Walking down the road but I didn’t get far
Walking down the road but I didn’t get far
Walking down the road and you know what I saw
A door had been left ajar
Time to walk through the door
Like that time before
To better days I’m sure
For you and me

Reach Into The Water
Waking from a dream
Like waking from a dream
To find nothing’s as it seems
Flying to catch the dawn
I’m flying to catch your dawn
To find a new day’s been born
It’s easy out here
Floating on the sea breeze
Take me where you please today
But don’t wake me
Just let me sleep
Reflections in the pond
You’re reflecting in my pond
I reach into the water
I reach into the water
I reach into the water
And you’re gone

The Way We Used To Be
Once we walked out side by side
You told the truth, I never lied
Once we lived before we died
But all at once we’re gone
Oh, the way we used to be
There’s no return for you and me
I guess right now we can’t disguise
That we have changed behind our eyes
Wonder if we’d recognise
Who we used to be
Oh, the way we used to be
There’s no return for you and me
Oh, oh, oh, the way we used to be
There’s no returning there for me
I was you and you was me
And now we are just history
A comedy and tragedy
It’s all the same right now
Oh, the way we used to be
There’s no return for you and me
Oh, as we walk the other way
Wonder if we’ll meet again some day

Shine
Shine, shine, shine the light on me
Shine, shine, shine your light on me
Dark, dark night turn to day
Sweep, sweep, sweep the shadows away
I see you moving now, I see you moving now
I see you moving now, I see you moving now
Ring, ring, ring across the land
Ring the bell with your mighty hand
Silent night will be gone
Morning brings morning song
I hear you moving now, I hear you moving now
I hear you moving now, I hear you moving now
Raise, raise, raise all broken hearts
Raise, raise up my broken heart
Great divide, far and wide
Build a bridge to my side
I feel you moving now, I feel you moving now
I feel you moving now, I feel you moving now
Moving all around, moving all around
Moving all around, moving all around

Talkin’
Talkin’ ‘bout a boy, talkin’ ‘bout a girl
Gonna meet one day and take on the world
Talkin’ ‘bout the street that leads to the café
I’m talkin’ ‘bout the eyes and the first words that they’ll say
But so much has to pass
‘Til the moment comes at last
Talkin’ ‘bout the beach waiting patiently
Talkin’ ‘bout the waves that race across the sea
But so much has to pass
‘Til the moment comes at last
But so much has to pass
‘Til the moment comes at last
Roll on, roll on, roll on to that day
Rollin’ on, rollin’ on, rollin’ on to that day
Talkin’ ‘bout the news that hasn’t happened yet
Written in the ‘paper that I’ll have to get
And when I turn the page, look up and see your face
The talkin’ will be over as it all falls into place
But so much has to pass
‘Til the moment comes at last
But so much has to pass
‘Til the moment comes at last

It Could Happen Anytime
In the town that I once knew
A letter’s read just one last time
While the clouds overhead grew
Someone’s lingering on those lines
It could happen anytime
Cross beyond that final line
The streets are lined with empty stores
Good times left there long ago
The last one soon will be no more
“Closing – Everything Must Go”
It could happen anytime
Cross beyond that final line
In the fields the rice grows high
‘Til the day of harvesting
And they’ll hang it out to dry
With the ravens circling
It could happen anytime
Cross beyond that final line
It could strike at anytime
It could strike at anytime
It could happen anytime
Cross beyond that final line
It could happen anytime
Cross beyond that final line

If You Look The Other Way
Look up, look-up 180 degrees
Look up, look-up 180 degrees
Tell me what you see
See-saw, see-saw like we did before
See-saw, see-saw like we did before
Shall we do it some more?
If you look the other way, it is coming round again
Big wheel, little wheel they’ve stopped turning now
Big wheel, little wheel they’ve stopped moving round
We need you to turn round
We need you to turn round
We need you to turn round
We need you to turn round
If you look the other way, it is coming round again
If you look the other way, it is coming round again
If you look the other way, it is coming round again
If you look the other way, it is coming round again

Leave This All Behind
Take some time out to ease your mind
Take a balloon and fly away
Take a trip to somewhere and you will find
You won’t know just what to say
I see storms are coming ‘cross the hill
Better get yourself inside
I see people running to pay their bills
Better pay your bills and hide
Surely it’s time to run away, get away, leave today
Surely it’s time to see the sights, scale some heights, win some fights
Make your mind up are you coming too?
Take the chance and live your life
Or stay here but comfort’s such a waste
Time to leave this all behind
Time to leave this all behind
Time to leave this all behind
Time to leave this all behind
Time to leave this all behind
Time to leave this all behind
Time to leave this all behind
Time to leave this all behind
Time to leave this all behind

Only So Far
Only so far, only so far
Only so far that we can go
Only so much, only so much
Only so much that we can know
There’s only so far that we can go
There’s only so much that we can know
But something has changed, something has changed
Something has changed in the air
And nothing remains, nothing remains
Nothing remains anywhere
Something changes in the air
And nothing will remain anywhere
Something changes in the air
And nothing will remain anywhere
Finding something new
Find me something new
I’m finding something new but very old
Moving beyond, moving beyond
Moving beyond this time and space
Cannot go back, cannot go back
Cannot go back to that place
Moving beyond this time and space
Cannot go back to that place
Moving beyond this time and space
Cannot go back to that place

Footprints In The Sand
We meander searching for the sea across the world’s concrete desert plains
Fighting permeation desperately to return to the heart through Earth’s vein
I dreamt some massive sunset breath refined me into rain
Where I’d be free from the fear of death and I could fall with you once again
In my loneliness I feel the warmth as nature takes me back into the clouds
Far across the sky I see the dawn of another new day for the people below
They’re walking on their beach today but the world is just footprints in the sand
So I fall to wash them all away and become one again with the land
But I can’t stay stagnant in the sun
Like water falling I must be on the run
And I’m so close now to my ocean home
But you have left me all alone
All alone
I seek you constantly in ice, streams and lakes, re-incarnated by the fire
Disappointment melts the memories of your face but the pain won’t quench my desire
I’ve flowed around the world, below and above, but nothing lasts forever
Except the oasis I’ll have in your perfect love where we can stay together
They may pollute me but I’ll be pure once more
When I reach the sea and lapping at their shore
I know it’s inevitable we’re all in the same cycle
Somewhere across the world I’ll meet with you for sure
I’ll meet with you for sure
From the well in the middle of the desert destiny reveals your presence
And my fantasies evaporate reality floods through my senses
I am fulfilled as two tears collide we fall to the sea at last
And in the ocean’s being you’ll find a single droplet dance
There’s a billion of us whirling there and we’re creating waves
That roll along towards the beach’s edge and on the horizon the sunset fades
Sandcastles and summer days will be washed away
But the everlasting light will reign and in our ocean home I’ll know we’ll stay
